Beverly Hills Cop Trilogy

In the 1984 movie "Beverly Hills Cop," rebellious cop Axel Foley (played by Eddie Murphy) follows the leads to Beverly Hills, California after his childhood buddy is murdered in Detroit. Despite being on vacation, Axel suspects that his friend's boss, art dealer Victor Maitland (played by Steven Berkoff), might be involved in the murder. However, Lt. Bogomil (played by Ronny Cox) of the Beverly Hills Police Department hinders Axel's search for evidence, not trusting the Detroit cop.

In the sequel "Beverly Hills Cop II" (1994), three years after the first film, Axel Foley returns to Beverly Hills following an assassination attempt on Captain Andrew Bogomil. Axel teams up with Detectives Billy Rosewood and John Taggart to solve a series of violent robberies known as the "Alphabet Crimes," but struggle to make progress. A lethal hitwoman linked to an international arms trafficking ring becomes the prime suspect, adding a new layer of complexity to the case. Can Axel and his partners crack the case once again?
